An immediate need exists for an experienced Machinist who has worked in the fabrication and assembly of new and modified components for at least ten years.
Essential Duties &
Responsibilities:
? Manages and determines best methods and resources for machining components to meet deadlines
? Fabricates replacement and new parts for new and existing equipment
? Reads and interprets mechanical drawings
? Reviews project instructions to determine test specifications, objectives, and possible solutions (such as equipment redesign)
? Fabricates and assembles new or modified mechanical components and assemblies for products, such as industrial equipment and machinery, power equipment, machine tools, and measuring instruments
? Discusses layout and assembly procedures and problems with Production Engineering Machine Shop Supervisor and draws sketches to clarify design details and functional criteria
Ideal candidates would have the following qualifications and
Experience:
? A high school education or GED
? Must be able to read and speak English fluently
? Advanced geometrical, arithmetic, and trigonometric skills are required
? Must be computer literate with knowledge of common software packages (Word and Excel) and CAD/CAM
? I minimum of ten years of machine shop experience is required
? Must be experienced with both mill and lathe CNCEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
